Mushroom Cultivation Class

On Saturday, August 2 from 10:30a-12p I will be partnering with another local mycophile to teach this beginner’s level class on the fundamentals of growing your own Oyster mushrooms indoors utilizing what is known as a ‘mono tub’. The class fee is $60 for up to 2 people, making this a great activity for families and groups of friends interested in learning more about this unique and multifaceted organism.

The class includes:
90 minutes of instruction covering the topics of basic mushroom terminology, morphology, and a step by step walk-through on how to begin to successfully grow your own mushrooms at home.
