Jessica Hinsdill of Wild Soulstice, LLC will be back at Little Village on Saturday, July 11 from 10:00- 11:30a for an Introduction to Herbalism session featuring the herb of the month: Rose. Come out and learn basic terminology, medicinal uses and methods of preparation.

Come explore mushrooms at Little Village! Together we will learn ‘what is a mushroom’… we will get hands on with 4 different mushroom species- examining Lion’s mane, Blue oyster, Shiitake, and Chestnut with all our senses as well as through a magnifying glass. Learn about the different mushroom statures, the mushroom lifecycle, and basic mushroom terminology! There will be a kid-friendly mushroom food tasting (pizza!) and everybody will be given their own oyster mushroom growing project to take home Geared towards kids aged 5-10 (or for kids of any age!)
