Join our Community Supported Mushroom Program!

Structured like a traditional CSA, community members will be able to directly support our farm through the advanced purchase of a share of mushrooms. This type of community partnership helps farms- especially micro farms like mine – by aiming to establish a more dependable cash flow. These upfront payments will help cover the monthly costs associated with our raw material acquisition. In turn, the farm can continue to provide regular distributions of hyper-fresh, organically grown mushrooms at a savings to our CSM customers.

We have broken down the calendar year into 3 ‘seasons’: Spring, Summer, and Autumn, with mushroom shares offered in full or half pound amounts as weekly or bi-monthly pick-ups. Pick up times will be on Fridays between 9a-4p at our new Little Village location at 7590 South State Street in Lowville (just a couple doors away from Jreck’s). Shares will be packaged as ‘Chef’s Mixes’ with some single variety options available at pick up or upon request. We will also offer packaging choices of either a paper bag or a plastic clamshell depending on customer preference.

Our first block of SPRING SHARES are now available to purchase! The Spring Share prices range from $48-$135 (please see CSM pricing tiers below for a full list of options.). Because this is a new project for us, we will take orders for Spring shares through the entire month of February and pro-rate accordingly.

Little Village is coming soon!

I am very excited to be opening this space which will be home to the Little Village Mushrooms Community Supported Mushroom program, a mycology resource and education nook, art gallery and creative space. Our vision is to make it easier for the community to access fresh, organically grown mushrooms as well as to create a space where people of all ages can come together to learn and be inspired about the fascinating fungi that surround us. Along with guest speakers and workshops, the space will also play host to gallery shows, pop-ups, and special events. All things mushrooms and art!
